The Process:

Consultation and Assessment

This will be a strategy session to plan out our approach.  We will review: health history, training history, injury history, level of comfort in the gym, nutrition and diet history. Also during this session we will review other lifestyle factors that will play a role including: occupation, sleep patterns, daily stress and daily commitments. Lastly, we will do an in depth movement assessment to evaluate any potential issues or opportunities for corrective exercise.

Program Design

When we work together, you can expect a fully customized approach designed specifically with you in mind. We need to ensure you have the right tools for success. This is where the art meets the science, we will tailor your program with frequency, intensity, volume, and movements to target your goals, lifestyle and schedule.  All while minimizing injury risk and gaining a thorough understanding and education of the concepts we are using to progress.

nutrition coaching

Fuel to succeed! I would like to emphasize coaching vs strict dieting. Rather than tell you exactly what to eat and how much, we will focus on small decisions to build habits that will outlast the short term gains of radical diets and ensure a lifestyle of healthy fueling.  Even though we will be focused on decision making and habits here, we will still be evaluating our nutritional intake in order to target habits to better meet our goals and we still have tasty nutritious recipes available to help you mix it up!

Accountability and Support

Something does not seem right, confused during a workout or have another question? I will be there every step of the way to help us succeed. I am always available via the Fitness App, phone or email.  We have a very powerful toolbox to help us including our Fitness App, powered by Trainerize, My Fitness Pal, which sinks with the Fitness App to log nutrition, and Zoom/Skype for video consultations and video exercise review.

RE-Evaluation and 

Modification

Using many of the systems we have in place, such as the fitness app and testing workouts, we will be continually re-evaluating and modifying our approach.  These decisions will be based on our data, lifestyle changes, injuries/health issues, and travel plans. We want to make sure we get the results we worked so hard for, so we need to be sure we are continually modifying the approach to keep it at an appropriate difficulty level to continue our personal growth. We also need to be ready for impending lifestyle changes and travel plans to ensure a smooth transition to a new schedule.
